I am looking for a good 10bit DAC videocard. I am trying to display
more shades of gray than my current 8bit videocard. Does anyone has
a suggestion about a good and inexpensive 10bit videocard. I am new
to this area so any feedback would help.
Sincerely,
Elios

We use the ATI 9000 Pro video card here and have been quite happy with
the results. Another approach for achieving a finer grain of contrast
that you might want to consider is using a bit-stealing scheme.
Depending on your stimulus and apparatus this might be a good solution.
