This time new in beta:

\* Support for automatic full-scene anti-aliasing:

See "Screen OpenWindow?" - the online help for the new optional
parameter 'multiSample' and message 4574 for explanation.

This needs a modern graphics card to work and will do nothing on older
hardware. On OS-X all cards except the Rage128 (Pro) should work with
up to 4x multisampling, although the NVidia GeForceFX5200 seems to be
broken with OS-X 10.4.6 wrt. this (driver bug?).

On other OS'es support depends on your hardware. GeForce 3 and higher
should work.

\* GetMouse on M$-Windows now correctly reports mouse button state.

\* DownloadPsychtoolbox and UpdatePsychtoolbox fixed based on Daniel
Shimas comments. Well mostly: Matlab will still throw a warning
regarding rethrow.m

\* There's a new implementatin of GetChar() for MacOS-X in this
release, written by Allen Ingling. This one is based on Java and seems
to work very reliably afaict. It won't work in matlab -nojvm mode, so
don't update now if you need to run matlab -nojvm. A future release
will automatically switch between the old GetChar for -nojvm mode and
the new GetChar for JVM mode.

UpdatePsychtoolbox now also allows you to \*downgrade\* Psychtoolbox. In
case you encounter a bug after an update, that wasn't present in an
earlier release, you can downgrade to an earlier release by specifying
the new optional 'targetRevision' parameter, setting it to 'PREV' to
downgrade in decrements of 1 version per call to UpdatePsychtoolbox.
See 'help UpdatePsychtoolbox' for further explanation.

This is especially useful in case the newest beta makes trouble,
because i'll be offline for most of this week ;) - Other than that,
hopefully there won't be much need to downgrade.

enjoy,
-mario
