Hi open-source/open-hardware/open-science fans,

this weekend the yearly (virtual edition) FOSDEM conference is running, and maybe some of you may find some of the content interesting. FOSDEM is the probably biggest open-source conference, and quite a spectacle in non-pandemic times. Over 700 talks in over 100 tracks and devrooms in one weekend. A few of the tracks relate directly to open science and open-source research software topics, so maybe something there you’d find interesting.

Afaik all videos are also recorded for later watching.

FOSDEM schedule:

> **[FOSDEM 2022 - Schedule](https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/)**

Especially open science / research software related stuff:

> **[FOSDEM 2022 - Open Research Tools and Technologies devroom](https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/track/open_research_tools_and_technologies/)**

> **[FOSDEM 2022 - When to invest in the UX of (scientific) open source](https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/event/osd_when_to_invest_in_the_ux_of_scientific_open_source/)**

Also various talks in these tracks:

> **[FOSDEM 2022 - Community](https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/track/community/)**

> **[FOSDEM 2022 - Miscellaneous](https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/track/miscellaneous/)**

Have a nice weekend / happy watching,
