# Guide to install PsychOpenHMDVR (and openhmd) on Windows

There is a guide to install PsychOpenHMDVR on a Windows pc.

I have an HTC Vive Pro Eye and I am looking a way to use it in psychtoolbox. Unfortunatelly, I have found only people that try to use this lib with linux.

Have you faced this challenge?

Our PsychOpenHMDVR driver is currently only provided for Linux, so installing Linux is your best choice at this point.

Work has started on a new VR driver, which may be useful for improved support of devices like yours. Check back in 2-3 months.
