# PTB Error Question

Hi,   
  
We are getting the following error whilst running one of our experimental scripts.   
  
PTB-WARNING: Call to PsychAvSetMmMaxThreadCharacteristics() for Vista-MMCSS scheduling failed for threadhandle 69F4F0B0. Setting thread priority to HIGHEST as a work-around...  
  
The are no other associated error messages.  
  
I have had a look at past messages on the forum but cannot see any clear instance where this is explained.   
  
Our scripts run fine and the reported timings are fine, so I don't see that the error is reporting anything drastic. But I would like to find out what it means / if it is important.

Matlab 2012b 32bit  
Dell Precision T1600  
Intel Xeon Quad Core 3.10GHz  
RAM 6GB  
Win 7 Professional 64Bit
