Hello, I installed the PsychToolbox via the Installer to run under MATLAB 6.5, but the SCREEN function seems to be missing. There is only a SCREEN.m file containing help text, which will produce nothing but "Error: Too many arguments." when called. What am I missing? Regards, Hendrik. ---

Is there any way for OS X Matlab 6.5 to work with the current version of Psychtoolbox. I have downloaded the current version of Psychtoolbox, and attempted to install with the installer. I kept getting error messages saying that I didn't have a MATLAB folder and that I needed at least Matlab 5.0, except that I have installed Matlab and it is version 6.5. I proceeded to install manually with the archived psychtoolbox, that worked but Screen doesn't seem to be found, I always get an argument error. I have read the other replies below, if the current version of Psychtoolbox is not compatible with Matlab 6.5 then I apologize for this posting, but if there is any development, could someone please let me know? No. The only way to use the OS 9 Psychtoolbox on OS X is with Matlab 5 in the OS X Classic Emulator. I am re-writing the Psychtoolbox for OS X. There is a pre-release demo available for download from Psychtoolbox.org. This pre-release version is still missing a few key features, it is not yet ready to be used for serious work. Independently, at the University of Rochester, Ben Singer was considering doing some work to Carbonize the OS 9 Psychtoolbox for OS X.
