Hello,

I am a new user to Psychtoolbox and am trying to make a movie file that I can upload to EPrime. Let me say I am not a coder.

I have modified the DotDemo script/function to show coherently moving dots, but am struggling in saving this animation to a movie file.

I used CreateMovie and FinalizeMovie in the script, and an empty .mov file was created, even though the DotDemo played. Is there an example or tutorial that I can look at to figure out how to get this into a movie file? I’ve spent many hours trying to research this question and have come up with very little, so any help is appreciated!

Thank you,

Julia

Hi Julia,

ImagingStereoDemo has example code for how to create such movies, with or without sound. See how the optional 'writeMovie' flag is used.
