Chromatic spatial contrast sensitivity

Hi Everyone,
I am kind of new to this game. So if any of my statements seem
slightly ignorant I apologize. The programming stuff is fairly new to me.

I am trying to put together a constrast sensitivity measure to assess
parvo- (red-green) and koniocellular chromatic contrast properties
(e.g. similiar to: Ventura, Quiros, Carelli, Sakinai, Gualtieri,
Oliveira, et al., 2005; Hardy, Delahunt, Okajima, & Werner, 2005;
Hardy, Delahunt, Okajima, & Werner, 2005).

So, I am trying to create spatially modulated isoluminant chromatic
gabors for this purpose and create CSFs based on these. I was curious
if anyone has tried this using psychoolbox before. I will be running
the experiment on a ViSage system from Cambridge, and also have access
to their toolbox as well. Any advice or suggestions?

Also, has anyone tried to develop a mangno- parvo- paradigm similiar
to the steady- and pulsed- pedestal method described by Pokorny &
Smith (1997). I may also use this method in my experiments, just
curious if anything is out there.
Thank you,
James Brazeau
