Here's what comes up:
'Welcome to Psychtoolbox
Please wait a second while we check your graphics driver. The FAQ page on the website explains how to skip the screen test. http://psychtoolbox.org'
This remains indefinitely until I abort it with the sca command taking me back to the command window. Furthermore, I couldn't find anything on the FAQ page to prevent this.
It's odd though because my graphics driver far exceeds that which is required for Matlab (I'm running a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory) with Matlab R2009b on Mac OS X 10.5.7. The exact same code also worked fine with Matlab R2008a with Windows XP on my PC. Could this be a compatibility issue between the 2008 and 2009 versions of Matlab?
Also, when I reduce the number of textures, Matlab is able to display the first two textures in my code but still proceeds to crash with the second frozen on the screen and the sca command unable to do anything about it.
Heres a link to my code: http://www.sendspace.com/file/rzh0u6
and here's a jpeg to demo if need be: http://www.sendspace.com/file/qpdbha
thanks,
Nate.
