Hi,

    I hope someone here can give me some help with the Exceptions I got after running EyelinkPicture.m several times on my windows machine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I am using windows 7 Enterprise 64bit.
    Display Device:

    Name: NVIDIA GeForce GT430
    Approx. Total Memory: 2760 MB
   Current Display Mode: 1440*900(32bit)(60Hz)
    Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After I run EyeLinkPicture several times, I got crash at the end:

   Detail information:

In order to get rid of the "AWT-EventQueue-0" error, I call the following function once in a while, e.g., at the very end of my scripts. Never saw this error again.
Marc

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
function javaSwingCleanup
% Clean up some internal Java stuff.
%
% javaSwingCleanup()
%
% The Matlab GUI is based on Java Swing, which occasionly causes
% problems when used with PsychToolbox due to internal quirks
% of Swing's RepaintManager class ("OutOfMemoryError in Java
% heap space").
% javaSwingCleanup() forces the RepaintManager to re-initialize
% by temporarily setting its screen buffer to zero size.
% Calling the garbage collector is probably not really necessary
% because it gets called by Matlab at some point anyway.
% Finally we try to overcome the problem that the RepaintManager
% apparently forgets about its dirty regions while re-initializing.
rm = javax.swing.RepaintManager.currentManager([]);
dim = rm.getDoubleBufferMaximumSize();
rm.setDoubleBufferMaximumSize(java.awt.Dimension(0,0));
rm.setDoubleBufferMaximumSize(dim);
java.lang.System.gc();
f = javax.swing.JFrame.getFrames();
for i=1:length(f)
f(i).repaint();
end
