HI,
I tried Grating, Random white noise and single bar moving in the
primary monitor and 2nd monitor(projector) in two WIN XP pcs. The same
result is that the presentation in the 1st display (LCD, 60 Hz) is
very smooth, while it shows flicker in the 2nd monitor sometimes
during the operation. Is there any way to overcome this problem? ( I
have not test yet to put the projector as primary and LCD as the 2nd)
Meanwhile I have a DirectShow program (under MS C++) to present the
grating and noise. I switch to the psychtoolbox because I can not get
enough flexibility from this Directrshow program. Under the same
hardware setting and connection, I tested the image quality in the
projector. For example, When the drift of grating between each frame
is set to 5 pixels, the projector image is still smooth under
DirectShow program, but flicker is shown under Matlab. Could someone
give some suggestion?
Thanks.
