How to work with USB ports in MatLab?

I used to use SERIAL.M in Psychophysics Toolbox to receive and
send signal through Printer and Modem serial ports. But my new Mac G4 does
not have these ports, instead it has 6 USB ports. Is it possible to use
SERIAL.M to control USB ports, or is there any other ToolBox in MatLab to
control USB ports?

serial ports to your G4

You can also try a usb-serial converter.
