InitializePsychSound and Low latency mode

Dear Mario, Dear all,

I recently installed a new sound card, Asus DG xonar, with ASIO 2.0.0.10. I also installed the ASIO4ALL driver, and the activated the onboard sound card on BIOS (win XP). However, when running "InitializePsychSound", PTB3 cannot find any low latency sound card.

What should I do, to have PTB3 use/recognize using the sound card in a low latency mode?

thank you very much in advance!

best,
fosco
Did you mean you uninstalled ASIO4ALL and deactivated the onboard sound card? :)

If no, you may try above.

Yep, I deactivated the onboard card (from BIOS) and uninstalled the ASIO4ALL.

I solved the problem by updating the PTB ;)
