Interface Matlab with Neuroscan Synamps2 Mac OS X

I am trying to find a way to interface Matlab with Neuroscan Synamps2 on a Mac OS X. I am using USB to 25 pin parallel cable. Everything I have found works only for windows. Has anyone determined how to do this on the Mac?
