Kbcheck doubt

Dear Friends,

I have been informed that to measure the reaction time
I can use this line of code

[keyIsDown, secs, keyCode] = KbCheck;

But Kbcheck (secs-time of keypress as returned by
GetSecs), and GetSecs returns the time in seconds
since the computer started.
So what I wanted to know was is the reaction time the
secs returned by Kbcheck or do I need to do some sort
of calculation to measure reaction time.
