My worksing system is Mac Catalina 15.6, and the version of Matlab is R2020a. The problem occured after I have installed Psychtoolbox-3 on Matlab.
The problem aroused right after I open my Matlab, then the mouse will become a rainbow circle(indicating no response) and will remail this until I quit it forcely.
In every 10 times I may probably succeed 1 time.
I guess the there may be some conflict between either two of Catalina15,Psychtoolbox and Matlab.
Hope you can help me with it.
No idea. In principle PTB is compatible with Catalina and should work, at least the basic bread and butter stuff. Catalina itself is an awful system though, so you have to adjust your expectations in terms of quality, reliability, precision etc.
So whatever you observe here can not be caused by PTB itself, especially as it doesn’t do anything during Matlab startup on Apples trainwreck.
Maybe something went wrong during installation, and the Matlab path or Java classpath got somehow corrupted? But then it should not start up ever, not just transient failure.
