Hi
I've been trying to install psychtoolbox on my Windows XP machine that
runs Matlab R2006b, but I've been having problems. I downloaded SVN
rebooted the machine, and then tried to download psychtoolbox many times.
I also tried many commands, like:
>> DownloadPsychtoolbox('beta','D:\psychtoolbox_3\')
>> DownloadPsychtoolbox('current', 'C:/toolbox')
>> DownloadPsychtoolbox('current','D:\psychtoolbox_3\')
The download fails, and I get the following error:
>> DownloadPsychtoolbox('current','D:\psychtoolbox_3\')
DownloadPsychtoolbox('beta','D:\psychtoolbox_3\')
Requested flavor is: beta
Requested location for the Psychtoolbox folder is inside: D:\psychtoolbox_3\
Will use the svn client which is located in this folder: C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\
Good. Your privileges suffice for the requested installation into folder D:\psychtoolbox_3\.
I will now download the latest Psychtoolbox for Windows.
Requested flavor is: beta
Target folder for installation: D:\psychtoolbox_3\
The following CHECKOUT command asks the Subversion client to
download the Psychtoolbox:
C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/osxptb/beta/Psychtoolbox/ D:\psychtoolbox_3\Psychtoolbox
Downloading. It's nearly 100 MB, which can take many minutes.
Alas there is no output to this window to indicate progress until the download is complete.

Command "CHECKOUT" failed with error code 1:
'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Will retry now by use of alternative http protocol...
The following alternative CHECKOUT command asks the Subversion client to
download the Psychtoolbox:
C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/osxptb/beta/Psychtoolbox/ D:\psychtoolbox_3\Psychtoolbox

The download failure might be due to temporary network or server problems. You may want to try again in a few minutes. It could also be that the subversion client was not (properly) installed. On Microsoft Windows you will need to exit and restart Matlab after installation of the Subversion client. If that
does not help, you will need to reboot your machine before proceeding.

Download failed.
I stopped the anti-virus but the problem persists.
'C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin' is on MATLAB path.
I spend on this problem many hours without progress.
Any help would be much appreciated!
