Quicktime movies on OSX

Is there an OSX version function similar to the "showtime" function for OS9? We need to
show Quicktime movies, and are new to Matlab an Psychtoolbox...

currently there is no Mac OS X version of Showtime, but we have talked
about creating one. Showtime was created by Andrew Watson and
colleagues at NASA and they have expressed some interest in helping
produce a version Mac OS X, but haven't yet made a commitment.

The task is to port the C code written under Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X. Full
sources for Showtime are included in the source for Mac OS 9
Psychtoolbox. We think the port should be straightforward since Apple
provides very similar Quicktime support in both environments. However,
it is a fair bit of code, mostly interfacing MATLAB to Quicktime, so
it's a nontrivial undertaking.
