Hi Massimo,
just two things that I can't find in your message: 1) did you update KbCheck? I remember there has been an win-update for KbCheck in the past (I attached it to this email. unzip and put it in the psychbasic folder). 2) If you want to use mouse input, why not use the PTB function GetMouse?
I hope this is helpful.
best regards,

Subject: PCwin: kbcheck, flushevents and Matlab 6.5 (or higher)
Hi all,
I found the exact origin of my problem. Apparently the problem is
kbcheck: it reports always a keydown [the keycode(255) which is
the left_mouse] as soon as I use the mouse.
Thus, when I'm editing the functions which I use to run my experiments
(which ask for a keyboad response) the functions crashes as kbcheck
finds two keydown: the subject response and the left_mouse.
Furthermore, flushevents doesn't seem to flush so the only
solution I found so far is to restart the pc.
I saw other users had a similar problem a few time ago.
I was wondering whether anyone found a solution.
Ciao and grazie,
Massimo
My software hardware specification:
XP + Matlab 6.5 + psychtoolbox 2.54 (or 2.50)
laptop ASUS M6000, and touchpad (I don't use the mouse)
