Hi,
I am designing a task where I want to present a continuous video in the background with a rating scale superimposed in the foreground. I do not want the video to refresh, but the rating scale will change at each trial (every 8-10 seconds), and should appear overlayed on the video. The rating scale will appear after the participants smell an odor triggered by a Matlab controlled device.I have tried doing this with Matlab and Cogent graphics toolbox, with no success.
Is it at all possible to achieve video + rating scale presented together with Psychtoolbox? I have never used this toolbox before, so I am not sure where to get started. Any feedback or piece of code to get started will be extremely helpful.
