The Vision Egg - open source stimulus software

Hello All,

As a long-time fan of the Psych Toolbox, I have created a
stimulus generation library in a similar spirit. It's called the
Vision Egg. It's a realtime graphics generation environment that
uses OpenGL to get the most out of today's commodity graphics
cards. 3D graphics are the main emphasis, but 2D stimuli are
also possible. It is open source (free), it runs on Mac OS X (as of
the past few days!) and linux. The language it uses is called
python, which is similar to MATLAB in some ways, but different in
others (such as the price --- free).

Check it out at http://visionegg.sourceforge.net/

It's not yet as mature as the Psych Toolbox, but one of my hopes
in making it open-source is that the vision science community
can help build it into something that we all can use.

Thanks!
