to convert into bitmap files

Dear all,
I need to convert an image created in Matlab (so a 3 D matrix of
numbers) into a bitmap file.
Infact in my hospital I have EP equipment that only imports bitmap
images; so first I will determine a subjective equiluminant point with
Matlab-Psychtoolbox and then I will convert the image in a bmp file
for the stimulation/acquisition.
Can someone know how can I convert the image?

Hi Roberta,

you can use imwrite to save Matlab's (m,n,3-Matrix) representation of
a "TrueColor" bitmap to a Windows 'bmp' file.
