Hi Psychtoolbox Forum
We have used the CreateProceduralGabor function to create a number of Gabors at different contrast levels. To manipulate the contrast we used the inbuilt contrast function. These values however, do not reflect to the actual contrast levels ( 'contrast' is the amplitude of your gabor in intensity units - A factor that is multiplied to the evaluated gabor equation before converting the value into a color value. 'contrast' may be a bit of a misleading term here...)
Could someone help us to determine the actual contrast levels?
That would be much appreciated!!
