Eye tracking in fMRI without eye tracker.

I stumbled over this VSS abstract from this year, by a former colleague of mine, which sounds somewhat nifty if it roughly works as advertised. Eye tracking in the scanner without eye tracker by using brain activity from the scans + machine learning to derive/map to gaze position.

Thought i share it, given that i learned from colleagues that eye tracking in the scanner is quite a hassle to set up and get working:
