I'm new to Psychtoolbox, so please bear with me..
We are planning on using an ISCAN eye tracking device in conjunction
with a PC (Win XP) running PsychToolbox. Can someone please give me
some info on how to read data from PC cards (e.g. digial i/o cards)
in Matlab/PT? Are there Matlab routines for this? What about in
the Data Acquisition Toolbox?
Also, I notice that some Matlab commands (relating to I/O, for
example) become non-functional once SCREEN is invoked. (e.g. input()
is functionally replaced by PT's getchar() and the like). Will this
be a factor when trying to access data from an eye tracker (or any
data from an i/o card) while running PT? Do these Matlab routines
cease to function?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
