Fwd: Autobrightness.applescript

Oops. I accidentally broke the Mavericks support while making it Yosemite compatible. This version works on both Mavericks and Yosemite.

hi all
NoiseDiscrimination uses the Autobrightness.applescript to turn off autobrightness when you calibrate or run an experiment.
the old version only worked on Mavericks. It did nothing on Yosemite. I've now improved it to also work with Yosemite. You can get the new version from the Dropbox. However, the old version is included in Psychtoolbox, so you'll need to remove the old version from Psychtoolbox in order to get MATLAB to use the new version.
i sent the update to Psychtoolbox so it'll become part of the next version, but that may take a week or two. If you're collecting data this week with NoiseDiscrimination on Yosemite, please upgrade Autobrightness.applescript now.
It's attached.

Resent, as the forum software is acting up again :(

Ok, the new one is merged for a future beta. But if i remember correctly, i tested the old one on OSX 10.10.2 or 10.10.3 on my 2010 MacBookPro single display, and it worked - i don't have any 10.9 anymore so it must have been 10.10. If it needs now special cases on your machine to work on 10.10 then that hints to some potential funny new compatibility problems even on the same OSX version.
