The current version of MATLAB has some issues when trying to run it on the Macbook or
Macbook Pro. To circumvent these issues I installed Parallels and Microsoft Windows XP on
my Macbook. I was able to get MATLAB working in Windows via Parallels without any
problems. The problem I'm having is with Psychtoolbox. I was able to install Psychtoolbox
BUT when I tried to run one of the demos an error message reported that the
"synchronization of psychtoolbox to the vertical retrace (VBL) is not working on my setup."
Has anybody else had this problem? I imagine that this is because I'm running Matlab and
Psychtoolbox in Parallels and the Microsoft Windows software isn't reading the refresh rate of
my Macbook. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks,
Aaron
