Hi folks,
I'm wondering if there's a way to use a central CPU to run multiple instantiations of MATLAB
and the Psych Toolbox on OS X.
My goal is to have one primary CPU with mulitple terminals, each with a monitor, keyboard,
and mouse, to run different experiments simultaneously.
I am considering a Mac Pro for this. Would I need OS X Server to do this? Also, does
Mathworks provide a version of MATLAB that can be invoked multiple times simultaneously
for such a system?
I would like to do this to save money on building multiple apparatuses; it would be cheaper
to buy one better computer to run two or three apparatuses than to have to buy three
individual machines for each apparatus.
Thanks,
Paul D. Thiem, Ph.D.
