I am wondering if anyone might be able to provide me with help setting up a
dual monitor setup on which I can present seperate image files on each
monitor simultaneously. I have tried this with an extended desktop setup on a
PC, but MATLAB v. 6.5 on Win98 with PsychToolbox did not recognize the
extended desktop - neither as an extended/wide screen nor as 0 and 1
screens. From a quick search, it seems this may be a common problem.
I have been informed that MATLAB and PsychToolbox on a mac will allow for
the recognition of two screens (0,1) that can be used to present seperate
image files simultaneously. I am interested in pursuing this option. Before I
purchase a dual monitor video card and/or new mac specific for this project, I
would like to know if any of you have done this and, if so, if you have any
