NVIDIA 2.6 update?

hi all

does anyone have a copy of the NVIDIA 2.6 updater?

http://psychtoolbox.org/mac.html#driverUpdates

From messages posted, it appears that NVIDIA 1.1.1 runs badly, that
the NVIDIA 2.6 (2.4?) update is helpful, and that the NVIDIA 3.0
update is harmful. Unfortunately the link we had to Apple's NVIDIA
2.6 (2.4?) update has broken, presumably because Apple decided it was
obsolete.

Did anyone keep a copy of it? I'd like to put it up on our server.

p.s.
It would also be good to file a bug report with Apple, to let them
know that the NVIDIA 3.0 update is bad news for many of us. has
anyone done that?
Dear Denis,

I mistakenly mentioned NVidia 2.6 when I should
have said 2.4. I extracted them from the MAC OS 9.2.2
update. There was a significant CopyBits(CopyWindows)
speed increase from about 250 MByte/sec to 320 Mbyte/sec
going from 2.3 to 2.4. Also VRam GWorlds were finally
supported on NVidia hardware with 2.4. The 2.4 Nvidia
extensions are dated Nov. 15, 2001. Take care,

Doug Taylor
