Plotting matlab graph on top of PTB window

I found some posts somewhat related to my questions, but quite...


I want to present real-time feedback to my participants as part of a neurofeedback study. 


I have code that achieves this with a standard matlab plot. 


I simply want to present this rapidly updating plot on top of a PTB window (e.g. a black screen).


What is the best/most efficient way to achieve this?

Why do you need a PTB window at all for this? Cfe. answer 2 about the "peephole" function in this message: Yahoo! Groups


Visual stimulation timing with PTB will be completely ruined that way, but you don't seem to want to use that anyway.
