Dear Reader -- I am trying to install Psychtoolbox to run a task for a student's honors project. I followed the instructions at: http://psychtoolbox.org/PsychtoolboxDownload#hn_Installation_Instructions
I downloaded Octave via Cygwin (today). I downloaded Subversion 1.7.6 for 32 bit (I am running XP with service pack 3). I was also able to download the psychtoolbox installer and place it in the correct folder.
Using Cygwin, I can access the correct directory. But when I type in the DownloadPsychtoolbox command as done in the instructions, I keep getting an error message which says.
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `'C:/psychtoolbox''
I've tried typing in the command the way it is in the installation instructions, but also the way shown here:
http://docs.psychtoolbox.org/DownloadPsychtoolbox
I'm not sure what to try next.
Thank you for your help.
