PSYCH HID error on Windows

Hi,

I recently installed PTB on my Windows and have been trying to run a visual task where participants enters values using the laptop’s default Keyboard. However, as I try to run the experiment, I get this error.

The error specifically shows up when I hit the ‘return’ key on the laptop. I had no problem running this experiment on our MAC (old version).

Any suggestion or tips to resolve this will be highly helpful.

You probably cleared PsychHID (clear mex, clear PsychHID etc.) somewhere in the preceding code and now state is inconsistent. For up to 30 minutes of further paid advice,
