Hi,
I hope it wouldn't be perceived inappropriate to ask for some advice on how to upgrade our stimulation setup.
We recently purchased a so-called 4K UHD monitor (3840x2160 pixels) for stimulus presentation in our scanner (call this monitor 1). For many of us, it is important to have a replica of what is shown to the participant also in the control room where the experimenter can easily see what is currently being presented (call this monitor 2). the 3rd monitor is where the matlab console is running, which is barely 1024x768 I think. A recent NVIDIA (GTX660-DC2-2GD5) card is available on this computer with windowz7 running...
so the question is, how to best achieve this without breaking up the synchronization of the main monitor? Assuming that we would have a similar 2nd monitor with similar properties can we use a video splitter with some expectancy of success? Are there any recommendations around for specific hardware?
Best,
bono
