Using Cambridge VSG with psychtoolbox

Hi,

I want to do some experiments with a PC (Windows XP SP2) which has a
second screen connected to a Cambridge VSG 2/5 card. I initially
thought I could use this screen with psychtoolbox by using the screen
maximum number given by:

Screen('Screens'))

However, this command only returns 0, so it's not using the VSG
screen. So my question is: Is there a way to display my stimuli on the
VSG with pscyhtoolbox? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks a lot,

Pablo Polosecki
Hi Pablo,

I just programmed a visual search experiment with the VSG and you
should program it with the CRS Toolbox for Matlab. There are a lot of
good examples on how to program experiments.

Hope that helps,

Michael

The VSG isn't supported at all. It isn't an OpenGL
compatible graphics card.
