Hi,
This is a general psychophysics question not relating to PTB3 per se, hope that's okay. As CRTs fall almost entirely out of production (e.g. iiyama, which used to make ones with very high frame rate), it's been harder (for me anyway) to find a monitor that will take anything higher than 60Hz. I got fooled once by the 'Tru-Motion'/'Auto Motion' 120/240Hz etc. technology that many companies offer; that corresponds to refresh rate not what it's taking from the graphics card and even there the claims can be dubious (e.g. LG). I'm told that the Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ does real 120Hz, and it does look that way from the product page, but that it only has 6-bit color depth--anyone know anything about that? Are there any other monitors on the market today that will do legitimate >=120Hz (LCD, CRT, whatever)? Thanks--
Matt
