Hi, I'm trying to set up an eye-tracking experiment on an SMI Eyelink
I eye-tracker. Our lab has traditionally used PsyScript to run the
eye-tracking experiments, but I'm trying to upgrade to a more powerful
programming language, and PTB/ETB look to be the best option. A few
questions:
Is the OS-X version of eyelink toolbox available?
Has the eyelink toolbox been tested on MatLab version 7.2 (on either
OS-X or Windows XP)?
For those who have run eye-tracking experiments using this software,
do you find certain configurations of operating systems and versions
of MatLab run better than others? Should I try to track down a copy
of MatLab 5.2 and run the whole system off an OS-9 machine?
Any advice on how to best set this up would be greatly appreciated, as
I'm relatively new to both eye-tracking and MatLab.
Many thanks,
