Hi All -

The September Matlab update (R2006b) has been announced
and it does not support the Intel Macs. Though we can
get our hands on a beta version the Intel Matlab in the
fall sometime. Matlab's web site has the following.

Will The MathWorks support Intel-based Mac computers?

Yes, The MathWorks is working to support Intel-based Macs. The goal is
to have a beta release of MATLAB for Intel-based Macs available this
fall (2006) and a general release available with R2007a, due in
early 2007 [March 2007].

The MATLAB for Intel Mac (Professional Version) beta will be available
to all users who are current on Software Maintenance Service.
