griffin powermate

hi,

In OS9 it was possible to use Griffin's Powermate with the Psychtoolbox (although I did not use that). I'm now trying to use it with OSX and the PsychToolbox. I have looking into PsychHID and tried (unsuccesfully) fooling KbCheck by claiming that the Powemate was a keyboard.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Don't know how the powermate operates. Post the output of

d=PsychHID('Devices');

d(1)
d(2)
....
d(whatever)

one of the device structs will describe the Powermate...

Maybe GetChar works with it?
