how to install dual monitors

Hi all,

Can any one kindly let me know what monitors you are using for the
experiments as well as what hardware is needed to install dual monitors to
the same G5 computer (OS X)?

If your G5 is like ours, you already have dual monitor support. You probably have a DVI to
VGA
adapter with which you can connect your first monitor if it's not DVI capable. For your
second (VGA) monitor (and Video out port), you most likely need an ADC to VGA adapter
to connect your second screen. You can get it from Apple store as far as I know (there's
one called:
Dr. Bott ADC VGA Extractor
Search for adc to vga on the main store page, and this should pop up.

We're using a LaCie 20'' CRT, as well as an 18" Philips LCD at present for our stimuli.
Basically, nothing special.
Second monitors are mainly for control and are older CRTs from Apple.
