How to send trigger via parallel port I/O on Windows 7/64bit

Hi,
I am an EEG newbie.Recently I want to impliment an EEG expriment on my 64 bit Windows 7 PC.
I try to use the methods introduced in https://github.com/Psychtoolbox-3/Psychtoolbox-3/wiki/FAQ:-TTL-Triggers-in-Windows and http://apps.usd.edu/coglab/psyc770/IO64.html

However, it alway informs me that there is an error when initializing the inpoutx64 system driver.

So how to solve this problem?
Is there an alternative solution?

Thank you!

He, Qing

Your description of the problem is a bit too unspecific to tell, but alternatively you could try the parPulse solution (http://display-corner.epfl.ch/index.php/TachistoscopeSoftware). I just added the link also to the FAQ (https://github.com/Psychtoolbox-3/Psychtoolbox-3/wiki/FAQ:-TTL-Triggers-in-Windows#alternatives).

However, parPulse also relies on the Inpout driver, so the Inpout driver needs to be correctly installed, which I never had problems with. Make sure that you didn't miss any of the installation steps.
