MATLAB 7.0 or 7.0.1

Will the latest release for MAC OS X work with MATLAB 7.0 or does it need 7.0.1 ? I know
the website mentions 7.0.1, but I was wondering if 7.0 will work as well, I don't have the
7.0.1 disks handy right now.
