Problem with automated download of Psychophysics Toolbox for OS X

Hello,

I plan to use the psychophysics toolbox for OS X and therefore
followed the instructions for automated install, given on the
psychtoolbox.org website.

The subversion client has been installed succesfully,

However the function 'DownloadPsychtoolbox('stable')' results in the
error that is pasted below.

Some insights on why I get this error and how it can be resolved would
be much appreciated!

Best regards,

Katinka van der Kooij

DownloadPsychtoolbox(' stable ',' /Applications ')
Requested flavor is: stable
Requested location for the Psychtoolbox folder is inside: /Applications

Good. Your privileges suffice for the requested installation into
folder /Applications.

Will now download the latest Psychtoolbox for OSX.
Requested flavor is: stable
Target folder for installation: /Applications
The following CHECKOUT command asks the Subversion client to download
the Psychtoolbox:
/usr/local/bin/svn checkout
svn://svn.berlios.de/osxptb/stable/Psychtoolbox/
/Applications/Psychtoolbox
Downloading. It's nearly 100 MB, which can take several minutes
without any output to the Matlab window, so please standby ...
Sorry, CHECKOUT failed with error code 1:
subversion/libsvn_ra_svn/client.c:141: (apr_err=60)
svn: Can't connect to host 'svn.berlios.de': Operation timed out

Checkout failed because the Subversion client executable svn.exe could
not be found.
Either you have to modify your system path, so Windows can find it, or
(more likely)
you did not install the Subversion client for Windows. Please read
"help DownloadPsychtoolbox"
for instructions on how to get and install the Subversion client for
Windows.
??? Error using ==> DownloadPsychtoolbox
CHECKOUT failed.
Hello

I also have had problems downloading the psychtoolbox (for windows)
initially I was on a private university network, and could not ping
the server. Having moved onto a public network, ping now returns a
connection sucess message, but I still cannot download psychtools

I tried
svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/osxptb/stable/Psychtoolbox/
c:\michael\psychtoolbox\Psychtoolbox

Which produced:
svn: Can't connect to host 'svn.berlios.de': No connection could be
made because the target machine actively refused it.

and

svn checkout
http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/osxptb/stable/Psychtoolbox/
c:\michael\psychtoolbox\Psychtoolbox

which produced:

svn: PROPFIND request failed
on '/svnroot/repos/osxptb/stable/Psychtoolbox'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svnroot/repos/osxptb/stable/Psychtoolbox': could
not connect to server (http://svn.berlios.de)

any suggestions gratefully received.

best wishes

Michael
