Problem with DAQ in ERP Chamber

We recently tried upgrading to PTB 3.0.13 on Mac OSX 10.11.  For some reason, PTB no longer recognizes our DAQ in our ERP chamber.  When we try to send event codes from the ERP chamber, they are no longer recognized by the computer recording the EEG signal.  Matlab throws an error, claiming that it could not detect our DAQ.  We were previously using PTB 3.0.12 with Mac OSX 10.8 and things worked great.

Are there any obvious issues/changes with DAQ routines in PTB 3.0.13 that we should be aware of?   It appears that the DAQ routines have not been significantly altered for quite some time.

-> Does detection still work with v3.0.12? What is the full detailed output of devs = PsychHID('Devices')? What is the exact error message on v3.0.13 - the full Matlab output?

-> In general the DAQ detection code was rewritten multiple times throughout the last years to deal with the frickin quality disaster that is the USB/HID subsystem of recent OSX versions. If that was really successfull i don't know, i no longer have access to any DAQ boxes for testing. If you want best quality and performance, upgrading to Linux is strongly recommended.
