R2016a and NVidia graphics drivers on Windows.

I was just skimming the R2016a release notes online and found this snippet, which could be relevant for Windows users with NVidia graphics:

"If you are using a Windows NVIDIA® graphics driver older than version 9.18.13.4052 (or 340.52 in NVIDIA driver version convention), then MATLAB reverts to using software OpenGL® instead of hardware-accelerated OpenGL. Hardware-accelerated OpenGL is not available by default due to known instabilities with the driver when running MATLAB. To take advantage of all the visual and performance benefits of hardware-accelerated OpenGL, update your graphics driver to the latest version."

Hope it helps,
