As part of tgis text it also says to check help SyncTrouble. Did you try the things described there?

That said, it looks like you have a laptop with internal graphics and extra grpahics, those tend to have trouble

Dual-graphics is not recommended, especially not on Windows.

Make sure the monitor is plugged into the NVidia card.
Disable the Intel card in the system firmware setup.

Or - recommended - upgrade to Ubuntu Linux 20.04.3-LTS, then at least the Intel should work splendid, the NVidia may or may not work ok (NVidia not recommended), your sound problems will also likely be resolved.
