Synchronization failure?

Hi all,

I have a (previously working) setup that is no longer doing working.

I am using 32-bit Matlab R2012a (with 32-bit GStreamer) on Windows 7 x64.

I get a synchronisation error when using OpenWindow (see output below). This error halts execution when the window is fullscreen, but when it is in windowed mode the warning triangle flashes a bit, then the code executes.

This all used to work, and I get the feeling that I have inadvertently changed something, maybe drivers?. I have tried redownloading PTB to no effect. Hopefully someone on here can point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.

----- ! PTB - ERROR: SYNCHRONIZATION FAILURE ! ----

One or more internal checks (see Warnings above) indicate that synchronization
of Psychtoolbox to the vertical retrace (VBL) is not working on your setup.

This will seriously impair proper stimulus presentation and stimulus presentation timing!
Please read 'help SyncTrouble' for information about how to solve or work-around the problem.
You can force Psychtoolbox to continue, despite the severe problems, by adding the command
Screen('Preference', 'SkipSyncTests', 1); at the top of your script, if you really know what you are doing.
