[Fwd: [psychtoolbox] Re: DrawLine, Mac OS9, 2]

Hello Frans!

Thanks for your patient tutoring!   Look, what is supposed to be displayed with your code is a white square in the upper left of the screen with an blique line running from the upper left corner to the lower right corner of the SQUARE,  not the screen, right?  B/c, we are sending the lower right coordinates of the rect for the line's terminating point?

I've been working so long and so hard on this, I feel like I am being really stupid about sometThe upper left corner is just where i think it should be, tucked away nicely right near the corner.  But, the lower right corner is in the middle of the screen.   Again, it seems as if my coordinate space is 200 by 200.    I do not understand why the coordinates are so darned off.

Cheers

Dawn

, what do you get when you do include in your program:
rect=[10 10 100 100];
Screen(window, 'FrameRect', white, rect);
Screen(window, 'DrawLine', white, rect(1), rect(2), rect(3), rect(4));

NB: I would expect a white square in upper left corner of your screen, with an
oblique line running from topleft to bottomright of screen.
Anything else would be really weird.

Gr.
Frans
