How hard would it be to write a toolbox for an eyetracker

Hi all,

I'm working on an eyetracking experiment and am trying to use PTB toolbox to prepare script and collect and anaylize data. However, I couldn't find any support toolbox for my eyetracker. I'm thinking about writing a toolbox for my own eyetracker. Can anyone give me some suggestions about where to start and what are the main problems I need to solve?

I know the output data format of the eyetracker. I think I also need to solve the syching problem. But I don't know where to start.
