Using PTB 3 with Windows XP and Octave

Is it possible to use Windows XP and Octave?

I have attempted to load PTB in octave and receive the error:

> DownloadPsychtoolbox('C:\toolbox')
Sorry, this installer doesn't support your operating system: i686-pc-mingw32.
DownloadPsychtoolbox can only install the new (OSX and Windows)
OpenGL-based versions of the Psychtoolbox. To install the older (OS9 and Windows)
versions (not based on OpenGL) please go to the psychtoolbox website:
web http://psychtoolbox.org/download.html
error: Your operating system is not supported by DownloadPsychtoolbox.

Is there a way to load PTB into Octave on an XP machine?
